Honouring Heritage & Coastline – A New Visual Identity for Hervey Bay Surf Life Saving Club
Sol Struck Studio was engaged to refresh the visual identity of the Hervey Bay Surf Life Saving Club — an iconic community organisation with deep local roots. The goal was to modernise the brand while honouring its proud history, local culture, and connection to the ocean.
At the heart of the identity is a hand-drawn whale icon, created to reflect the region’s most beloved natural symbol. Paired with a clean, coastal colour palette and adaptable type system, the new branding communicates both trust and vitality — perfectly aligning with the Club’s mission to serve and protect the Hervey Bay community.
